Claus Teilmann Petersen is Department Director at DIHR’s Human Rights and Business Department overseeing the Corporate Engagement and Business & Accountability programs. Claus is seated in United Nations Global Compact’s “Advisory Network of Experts” and an interim position at the Board of Directors at UNGC Denmark.

Claus’s working experience includes years of advisory roles on labour rights, responsible supply chain management and sustainability embedded in Hungarian and Vietnamese institutions. Further to this, Claus has taken up managerial positions within sustainability and business integrity within pharma and jewellery industries – latest as VP of Ethics at PANDORA Jewellery. Here Claus has been responsible for implementing UNGP compliant due diligence and building ethical value chains from Design and Development, through Sourcing and Manufacturing to Marketing, Sales and Retail. While at PANDORA Claus was a member of the Executive Committee and acted as Chair of the multi stakeholder “Standard Setting Committee” of the Responsible Jewellery Council - a not for profit certification organization with 1000+ members across the jewellery supply chain.
