Jane Nelson has worked in the field of corporate responsibility and public-private partnerships for almost 30 years working with organizations such as The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the UN Global Compact and the Clinton Global Initiative, as well as serving on the boards of directors or advisory councils of a variety of corporations, investment institutions and nonprofit organizations, with a focus on mining, energy, food and beverages, healthcare and financial services in developing countries. She is particularly interested in the role of multi-stakeholder coalitions in addressing complex social and environmental challenges, emerging models of business leadership and corporate governance, women's empowerment, and strengthening linkages between the human rights, development, humanitarian and climate change communities of practice. Born in Zimbabwe, Jane has lived and worked in Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States with work experience also in the Middle East and Latin America.
