Linda Ristagno is Assistant Director of External Affairs at the International Air Transport Association (IATA). In this role, she is responsible for developing global policy and multilateral dialogue across a broad range of topics and with a particular focus on accessibility issues.  Linda is passionate about tourism and as a part of her role, she assists airline members in the advocacy campaign to promote the sustainable restart of travel and tourism, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Linda joined IATA in 2010 and covered various posts, holding operational, regulatory, and cargo security responsibilities. She also has a vast maritime background having worked for over 15 years within Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). She has a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language with Russian Studies from the University of Pisa, (Italy), and an Executive master’s degree in Advocacy, International Negotiation, and Policymaking with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva.
