People can talk to me about:

Human rights reporting
I have a 20-year track record of identifying and managing Environmental, Social (E&S) and Human Rights issues, and translating outcome of these into concrete actions and policy areas for a bank. My experience includes engaging with stakeholders and companies on these issues across a variety of countries, industries and value chains. I have worked on evaluating clients and projects in emerging markets including Africa and South East Asia helping them to improve their E&S and human rights practices and set up community benefit plans. I represented ING in the Dutch Banking Agreement on Human Rights and in the supply chain working groups for cocoa, palm oil and gold (leading the working group for gold). I was also instrumental in structuring and delivering various chapters of the ING’s first Human Rights report. At FMO I was the program manager of the sustainable banking initiative in the Nigerian banking sector that was awarded FMO's first Innovation Award.
In my prior roles at the Environmental and Social Risk Advisory I was involved in developing bank-wide E&S risk policies for oil & gas, metals & mining, forestry, palm oil, cocoa and defense.
In my initial roles in ABN AMRO I played a key role in positioning the bank as a leader in this field by ensuring top ranking in all major sustainability indices. I also worked as product developer for ABN AMRO Asset Management where I developed the first sustainability equity funds for the bank.
